Stephane Wrembel presents Django a Gogo: A music Festival celebrating the life and the music of Django Reinhardt AT VALLEY VIEW FARM IN HAYDENVILLE, MASS., ON AUGUST 13-15, 2020




Stephane, is very excited to announce a very special Django A Gogo concert series celebrating the music of Django, at Valley View Farm, 16 Walpole Road, Haydenville, MA 01039, from Thursday, August 13th through Saturday, August 15th.  This series will bring together some of the most highly regarded jazz musicians to this lovely and historic farm and orchard nestled on hundreds of acres just 15 minutes Northwest of Northampton.  The concerts will be held in the open-sided Hemenway Barn giving patrons room for social distancing in the surrounding fields.  Tickets will be limited following state guidelines.  For more information visit

The Django A Gogo All-Stars

This will be a world class evening of gypsy jazz at the highest level of musicianship. The concert repertoire follows the Django canon and veers into reinterpretation, improvisation and interplay between musicians from various backgrounds. The group includes: Stephane Wrembel on guitar; Sara L’Abriola on guitar;  Daisy Castro on violin; David Langlois on washboard; Nick Driscoll on saxophones; Thor Jensen on guitar; Ari Folman-Cohen on bass; and Nick Anderson on drums.

Stephane Wrembel presents The Django Experiment


Wrembel will present his latest album, The Django Experiment V, in its entirety. The concept of The Django Experiment is a tribute to Reinhardt mixing compositions and influences from other landscapes of the musical world aiming to create an inner journey for the listener. Wrembel feels The Django Experiment V is his strongest “experiment” thus far.  For this concert, Wrembel will be backed by the members of his regular band that includes Thor Jensen, Ari Folman-Cohen and Nick Driscoll.  The performance will include special guests Daisy Castro and Nick Driscoll who both contributed to The Django Experiment V.

Stephane Wrembel Band


For this last concert of the series, Wrembel will be playing with his world renowned band that includes Jensen, Folman-Cohen and Anderson. The band will be performing Wrembel's original material including the single “Bistro Fada.”  While heavily influenced by Reinhardt, Wrembel's original music incorporates jazz, blues, classical, swing, flamenco and rock. All of these influences come together as a genre identifiable only as Stephane Wrembel.
